Near East Relief: A Review for the Year Ending December 31, 1928

Context

Annual report submitted to Congress pursuant to Section 8 of the NER Congressional Charter (1919). The 1928 report covers the final full year of NER operations before the organization’s formal transition to the Near East Foundation in 1930. By this point, the Second Survey Committee had completed its work and recommended the shift from relief to technical assistance.
