Kara Vedder is an actor, producer, and entrepreneur. Kara starred in the feature film “Pretty Girl” that explores spiritual warfare & the mystical nature of love & drugs. She is currently preparing the Lead role in another edgy indie film, “Turning the Girl”. She has also held Lead roles in television series including “Deadly Affairs” and “Monsters Inside Me”. Recently, she starred & produced a comedic short called “The Last Lift of the Leg” which is being developed for TV after its run in festivals. Theatre credits include “The Smoking Room” and “After the Indians”. In addition to her extensive experience in film & television, Kara owns a commercial production company, Arf & Co, that produces countless A-List commercials both here and abroad. Kara currently helms the TV/ Film division of Arf & Co. & Vedder Enterprises. Her production companies are housed in her soundstage, Cobalt Stages, in the heart of Hoboken. At Cobalt, you will find her motion control company, Paws & Co., which is the largest robotic effects company on the East Coast and soon to be the first to bring Virtual Set capability to the NY metropolitan area.
